Justice Chisholm has dismissed Stop the Stadium’s injunction to prevent the Dunedin City Council from signing a contract with Hawkins Construction to build the stadium, before public consultation on this year’s annual plan is heard. I am in no doubt that the Council will relieved, given the depth of the financial hole they have already dug themselves.
